This October sees Scottish modern death metallers BLOOD THREAD bringing their Tormentour to venues around Ireland, with plenty of local talent in tow.

Hailing predominantly from Scotland, BLOOD THREAD raise the bar in the arena of bone crushing modern Death metal while unashamedly tipping their hat to the legends that pioneered the genre. Years of thrilling audiences the length and breadth of the U.K  with intense and and powerful live performances have guaranteed them support slots with other metal heavyweights such as Vital Remains, Cattle Decapitation Kylesa,P.A.I.N. and Insision.

The band’s first ever Irish performance will take place in Fibbers, Dublin on the 27th October. Where they will be joined by CALL TO ARMS, ALPHEIDAE and JENOVA for what’s sure to be a blistering night of metal. Doors Open at 8:00 PM… First Band on at 8:30 PM… Admission €5.

The 28th sees the band heading West to Galway and The Cellar Bar and brought to you in association with The Cranium Titanium Metal Show and FlirtFM 101.3. Prepare for great night to satisfy all tastes in Metal music! Joining BLOOD THREAD will be Dundalk Alt-Metal Tour-De-Force WORDS THAT BURN who will make their live Galway debut. WORDS THAT BURN recently signed to Wormholedeath/Warner Chappell Music for the release of their blistering full length “Regret Is For The Dead”, and have been gigging relentlessly to promote since it’s release. The album has wowed critics and fans alike sending the album straight to number 1 in the official iTunes mainstream charts surpassing  the like of ‘Beyonce’ and the ‘Now! That’s what I call music’ collections!

Also supporting on the night will be up and coming Dublin metal band ALPHEIDAE, an all-round metal band, with influences ranging from black metal, to thrash, to progressive metal, whose strong live performances made them the surprise hit of this year’s Bloodstock Metal To The Masses heats. Their single release ‘Altruist’ enjoying continued FM radio rotation and the bands debut EP, “The I In All” will finally see it’s release on October 7th.

The Tormentour then heads to Belfast on the 29th as part of the Distortion Fest in the Limelight before finishing at The mighty Siege Of Limerick on Sunday October 30th, when our nations metal community converge on the Treaty City for the legendary FREE metal festival!
