Yup! We’ve been plugging away at this craic for FIVE YEARS!
To celebrate edging past the five year mark here in the Irish Metal Archive and to show our appreciation for everyone checking out the Archive, we’ve put together a series of live shows in conjunction with various promoters from around Ireland. There’s a little something for everyone, so head on out and enjoy a night of metal in one of the areas close to you…
The first gig will be on Friday 26th February where we team up with Carnage Metal Club in Fibbers, Dublin. THE DEVIL WANTS HER SWAGGER BACK will bring their heavy groove to headline this one with back-up from ALPHEIDAE, CROSSFIRE and Cork band PETHROPHIA.

The second will be with Henchman Promotions in EnnisKILLen on Friday the 4th March with black metallers DRAKONIS from Lisburn headlining the night and support coming from local alt-metal band ATTACK THE DAY and Belfast death/thrashers WARDOMIZED.

Saturday March 5th is the busiest day! With gigs in Cork, Limerick and Galway all taking place…
Pyre Promotions will host psychedelic doom band VENUS SLEEPS, with local hardcore band BAILER and Dublin’s TWO TALES OF WOE in the Cork Community Print Shop.

Bad Reputation have organised NO MANS LAND, THE MAGNAPINNA, PARTHOLÓN and BEYOND TRANSCENDANCE to take the stage at the Kasbah Social Club in Limerick.

And Feast Promotions & Hexen Haus in Galway’s will see noise/drone group FROM THE BOGS OF AUGHISHKA, CORR MHÓNA, SOOTHSAYER and WEED PRIEST making some serious noise at the Róisín Dubh.

The final gig will be in Fred Zeppelins, again back in Cork. That one is being organised alongside Pethrophile Promotions and will see another varied line-up of bands from all over the country. We have XEROSUN, ASTRALNAUT, PARTHOLÓN, VENDETTA LOVE and UNKINDNESS OF RAVENS all playing on the night.
