News just in that Pat Byrne’s HEDFUZY have signed to Northern Ireland’s Progressive Gears…
Official announcement from the label this morning…

“We are besides ourselves with joy to announce the first local signing to the label in the form of Pat Byrne. The Limerick-based multi-instrumentalist is the driving force behind prog metal outfit HEDFUZY. The debut album has already been released to some acclaim, but Pat felt that PGR could help him spread the word further afield through our network of contacts.”

HEDFUZY‘s self-titled debut album was previously released to some acclaim, but with Progressive Gears now backing it they want to get it heard by a wider prog metal audience. Check out the video below to hear the track ‘How To Tear The World From Your Head’ from the album. And if you like what you hear and read, then you can get your hands on the album from the Progressive Gears Bandcamp (digital) and BigCartel (physical) stores.

Progressive Gears is a Music Management Company & Record Label established Sep 2015 and based in Northern Ireland.

PG Management was formed in July 2014 specifically to look after the interests of Canadian progressive rock band Machines Dream. The experience gained from successfully promoting their music to a wide range of online indie radio stations and various music blog/review sites is now available to other artists wishing to grow their presence. Digital marketing (Facebook, Twitter etc) is also used to increase the fan base – let us help you get your music to the right people at the right time.

PG Records formed in September 2015 simply to release the CD Voices for Hospices, which aimed to use the power of prog to raise funds to support the work of the World Hospice and Palliative Care Alliance. It brought together artists from established to indie – from those you know to those you might want to know – and makes a fantastic addition to any collection. Machines Dream signed in early 2016 and were followed by five other acts during the course of that year.
