The Water Reference Alternative / Co. Cork

The Water Reference formed in 2006 through a bunch of friends that simply wanted to jam and see whats would happen.  The line up never changed in it short existence.  Vince McCarty on Vox and guitar, Phil Cotter on Guitar, Steve Barry and Shane O’ Brien on drums.  After playing a few gigs around Cork and recording an EP in St. Lukes Church in Cork, Vince moved to Munich Germany and that was the end of that.  The last gig was in ‘The Whisky’, Cork.
