Suzaku Avenue Alternative / Co. Dublin

SUZAKU AVENUE formed in 2011 from a previous band named Best Before. The line-up then consisted of Stephen Moody on lead vocals, Fionn Murray on guitar, Ross Byrne on bass and Jack Doyle on drums. Ross later left and was replaced by Andrew Shovlin. The band has recently released their first EP entitled “Let’s Pretend”, and are planning to release a second EP later in the year.

The band plays a style of progressive/experimental metal with influences from hardcore punk and indie rock, inspired by bands such as CAVE IN, ALTAR OF PLAGUES, GORGOROTH, SUNNY DAY REAL ESTATE, RADIOHEAD, ARCTIC MONKEYS, CAINA and MY BLOODY VALENTINE.
