Ghost Origin is a 4 piece progressive rock band based in NI. It started as twin brothers Aaron (guitar) and Jonny (drums) jamming some ideas together throughout 2013. They wanted to get a serious project started after being part of Hofesh Shechter’s “Political Mother” band in March 2013 which inspired them greatly.

Joined by James early 2014, adding his guitar and vocal talent as front man of the band. Aaron had been close friends with James while at NWRC studying Music Performance during 2012/13.

Auditions were held for the final member during mid 2014. The first audition was all that was needed, with Kerry joining the band as bassist. The line-up was complete and Ghost Origin was born. In early 2015 they recorded two singles “Release” and “Elysium” at Start Together Studios Belfast and released them for download on Bandcamp.
